Ladies Appreciation Dinner

Council 8282 held their first Annual Ladies Appreciation Dinner in appreciation of all that the ladies do for our Brother Knights. Dinner was for all Knights and their Ladies and we had several new faces attending. Dinner was cooked by Chef Tom Rosenberger and served by the St. Viator Youth Group. Profits from the Dinner went to the Youth Group to fund a trip later this summer. All that attended had a wonderful time including dancing. Special appreciation was given to the Ladies that consistently assist our Councils efforts to raise money supporting our charities.

Corporate Communion 05/31/2009

Sunday, May 31 was our latest Corporate Communion at St Viator Church. We were escorted in by Fourth Degree Color Guard from The Theodore Van Skee Assembly. We had a couple of new faces this Sunday and several of our Brother Knights and their families attend this special Mass regularly but we need more. This is a grand opportunity to show to the Parish Community that These Knights represent the Largest Catholic laypersons organization in the World.

St. Viator Charity Dance 05/22/2009

Comments from those that attended like “It's nights like last night, that makes me proud to be a Knight of Columbus. The turn-out was low the first time out, however the one's that showed up, had a great time. It's great to see Knights and their wives letting their hair down and just having a good time.”

St. Patrick Day Parade & Feast of St. Joseph - March 2009

Fourth Degree Knights Joe Q, Scott Davis, Erik Batzloff and Rick Sherman from St Viator Parish and Fernando from St Francis of Assisi Parish participated in the St Patrick Day Parade in Henderson and then hurried over to Guardian Angel Cathedral to process in with the St. Joseph statue for the Feast of St. Joseph at Guardian Angel Cathedral.

St. Joseph Table at St Viator Church March 15, 2009

The St. Joseph Table at St Viator was a grand success, The profits from the all day event will benefit Catholic Charities of Nevada. All of the items on the table were for sale and we enjoyed a wonderful pasta dinner. Sponsored by Knights of Columbus, Catholic Daughters, Women's Guild, Association of Italian Catholics, and Geno and Elaine Riggio.
